Terms of Service

By creating an account or using any part of the ESGyan platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ESGyan Learning Pvt. Ltd. ("ESGyan", "we", "us").

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using ESGyan you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@esgyan.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to share your account with others. Each purchase grants a licence to a single individual; corporate or team access requires a separate arrangement.

Licence: On successful payment, ESGyan grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the course content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

No redistribution: You may not record, copy, share, resell, or otherwise distribute course videos, text, or materials without our prior written consent.

Content accuracy: Our courses are created by subject-matter experts and are updated periodically. However, ESG regulations and standards evolve rapidly. ESGyan does not guarantee that all content is current or legally accurate for your specific jurisdiction.

Certificates are issued upon successful completion of all lessons and assignments for a course. Each certificate carries a unique ID verifiable at esgyan.in/verify. Certificates represent completion of our curriculum and do not constitute a professional licence or regulatory qualification unless explicitly stated.

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. GST at the applicable rate (currently 18 %) will be added at checkout.

Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. ESGyan does not store your card or UPI credentials. In case of a failed debit where access was not granted, contact us within 7 days for a full refund.

ESGyan reserves the right to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect courses already purchased.

Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details. In summary: we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for courses where less than 20 % of the content has been accessed. Refund requests are processed within 5–7 business days.

You agree not to:

- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.

- Upload or transmit viruses, spam, or any malicious code.

- Scrape or harvest data from the platform using automated tools.

- Impersonate ESGyan or any instructor.

- Circumvent any digital-rights management or access-control measure.

Violation may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

All content on the platform — including text, videos, graphics, logos, and course materials — is owned by or licensed to ESGyan and protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable international treaties. The ESGyan name, logo, and brand marks are trademarks of ESGyan Learning Pvt. Ltd.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ESGyan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid ESGyan in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you by email or via a notice on the platform at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
